Upcoming Webinars
Professional Networking Using My Professional Center (MPC), is scheduled on October 16, 2008.
Professional networking is about building mutually beneficial relationships and is one of, if not the most valuable, skill set you can learn to expand your career opportunities. It can be a much more effective manor to find employment than just looking for posted jobs, as research shows 70-80% of jobs are never advertised to the public and are obtained through different channels of networking. In this webinar we will discuss:
- Setting networking goals and plans
- Different networking types and methods
- Who to network with
- Where to network
- The importance of providing value to your contacts
- Basic advice, tips, and things to avoid doing while professionally networking.
This presentation will also incorporate using My Professional Center (www.myprofessionalcenter.com) as a method of networking. My Professional Center is free to those who have a current certification with NCCT and has a number of both personal and professional networking tools.

CE Updates
- Effective September 2008, recertification fees are calculated at $5.50 per Clock Hour. You are welcome to make payments if you cannot afford to pay the fee at one time. If you prefer to complete your CE tests using paper and pencil, you will receive your CE materials when the payment has been received in full. In addition to seeing your results immediately upon completion of a test, you are able to do your CE a little at a time during the year and not all at one time. We offer both options to provide flexibility for our customers.
